🔗 Step 1: Connect Your Device

💻 Plug in your Ledger device via USB (or connect via Bluetooth if using Nano X).
🌐 Go to the official website: https://www.ledger.com/start
⬇️ Download and install Ledger Live for your operating system.

⚙️ Step 2: Set Up Your Ledger Wallet

🆕 Choose “Initialize as New Device” if you’re setting it up for the first time.
🔢 Select and confirm a secure PIN code on your device.

📛 Tips for a Strong PIN

Use 6–8 digits.
Avoid birth years or repeated patterns.
Write it down and keep it hidden.

📝 Step 3: Write Down Your Recovery Phrase

Never store your recovery phrase digitally — write it down on the card provided.

✍️ Write down each of the 24 words in exact order.
🔐 Store it in a fireproof safe or safety deposit box.
❌ Do not take a picture or store it in cloud storage.

⚠️ Lost Phrase = Lost Wallet

If your device is lost or stolen, your recovery phrase is the ONLY way to recover your assets.

🔄 Step 4: Verify Recovery Phrase

Ledger will prompt you to confirm selected words from your recovery phrase. This ensures you wrote it down correctly.

📲 Open Ledger Live and go to “My Ledger”.
